George Mason women's track and field came in at 14th in the initial outdoor USTFCCCA Southeastern Region following a busy weekend of outdoor competition.
George Mason track and field completed competition at the Colonial Relays Saturday with 12 top 10 finishes led by sophomore pole vaulter Sean Daughterty.
To exemplify their commitment off the track as much as on the track, five George Mason track and field student-athletes recently participated in a local community service event by lending a hand at a soup kitchen.
George Mason track and field will compete in three meets this weekend with contingents at the Colonial Relays, Florida Relays and Stanford invitational.
George Mason track and field concluded the Raleigh Relays Saturday afternoon led by the women's 4x200m relay team of Jasmine Robinson, Taylor Sharpe, Shavon Briscoe and Caela Williams took first place with a time of 1:38.39.
