NEWPORT NEWS, Va. -- Six Christopher Newport University student-athletes were recognized as members of the 2015-16 Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID) Academic All-State team. Seniors David Furrow (Football), Lisa Murphy (Field Hockey), and Garrett Van Nutt (Men's Soccer) were repeat selections for the Captains, while seniors Robert Graham (Track & Field), Abby Johnson (Women's Soccer), and graduate student Sam Robinson (Golf) each collected their first career accolade from the state Sports Information Directors.
